RajTube Co. incorporated as a Private Limited Company on 24th June 2006.

Seamless Pipes are constructed by using an extrusion mould. These pipes are also highly affordable for all. There are several methods to build these Seamless pipes.  The molten steel is poured using a casting mould.

What are the types of Seamless Pipes?

Seamless pipes are categorised by their manufacturing process and material grade. Common types include hot-rolled, cold-drawn, and precision seamless pipes, as well as those made from carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. Additional classifications can be based on the pipe’s specific application, such as boiler tubes, hydraulic pipes, or structural tubes. 

Here’s a more detailed breakdown:
 
1. By Manufacturing Process:
  • Hot-Rolled: These pipes are formed by heating a solid steel billet and then pushing it through a mandrel. They are suitable for general-purpose applications and are widely used in industries like oil and gas, construction, and machinery.
  • Cold-Drawn: These pipes are made by drawing a solid steel billet through a die, which enhances dimensional accuracy and surface finish. They are often used in precision applications, such as in automotive and hydraulic systems.
  • Precision Seamless: These pipes are manufactured using advanced technologies to achieve very tight tolerances and a high-quality surface finish. They are ideal for high-precision applications like aerospace and instrumentation. 
2. By Material Grade:
  • Carbon Steel: Carbon steel pipes are a type of seamless pipe where carbon is the primary alloying element. They are commonly used in general applications. 
  • Alloy Steel: Alloy steel pipes contain additional alloying elements like chromium, molybdenum, or nickel, enhancing their properties. They are often used in high-temperature or corrosive environments. 
  • Stainless Steel: Stainless steel pipes are made from steel with at least 10.5% chromium, offering excellent corrosion resistance. They are used in a variety of applications, including those involving harsh chemicals or high temperatures. 
3. By Application:
  • Boiler Tubes: Used in boilers for heat transfer.
  • Hydraulic Pipes: Used in hydraulic systems for fluid transmission.
